Welcome to the website of the Bowling Green Mindfulness Club (BGMC)!

The primary goal of BGMC is to cultivate moment-to-moment awareness, thereby increasing personal satisfaction and effectiveness in daily living.

Specific goals include:

  • To provide a regular space and time for meditation practice (weekdays 12:15-12:45, 113 Crim)
  • To expose campus members to a range of mindfulness and relational practices (meetings are every Tuesday and Friday at 5:30pm)
  • To demonstrate the ways in which mindfulness can contribute to healthy relationships (see past events)
  • To invite speakers and sponsor workshops that introduce new mindfulness practices (see past events)
  • To provide the opportunity for meeting like-minded individuals and to create a community  in Bowling Green committed to formal and informal mindfulness practices (meetings every Tuesday and Friday at 5:30pm)
